Bivouac in Switzerland (South of Bern Canton)

Hey guys, I'm working in Switzerland at the moment, and I was looking for an above 2000m spot to bivouac at for a 2/3day walk to read peacefully. D+/D- does not matter, preferably reachable by train. There are a lot of natural reserves that I'd much rather stay respectful of, so I hope you have some favorites to share!

I'm reachable by dm, expedition pro, LNT, won't post about it.

Thanks in advance :)

My next expedition.

Hi guys, I'm currently planning my biggest expedition as of yet, and I'm throwing random questions I'm still thinking about out there to see if I get interesting and/or useful takes, thanks in advance ! Before anything, context :

- over 2028

- Estimated 5500-6500km

- Solo

- On foot only (unless authorities intervene or Visa run)

- Estimated 10-11months of walking (recovery included)

- From Mongolia to Laos

- First half pulling a cart, sending it home in Yushu then backpack

- Ideally all gear should be carried from the start, only sending things back along the way (foods excluded)

Some things I'm unsure about :

• Should I use two pairs of bicycle wheels or two fat bike wheels for the cart ? Repair wise normal wheels seem easier, but with sand/very uneven terrain it might be worth it to go big and heavy.

• From Yushu to Yunnan, should I take light crampons ? There's some passes around 5000m that I might not be able to avoid, and micro spikes might not suffice. But that also implies taking another shoe during the whole trip as my Altras are too soft.

• Can anyone find reliable maps for the Gobi desert around Ceke ? I've found and used old ones, but the more info the better.

There's plenty of time and a lot of details are up to change in the next year, most of the road planning is underway and gear choice is mostly done. But feel free to AMA !
