Episode 4 reminded me of this
After removing memory Diane, Rick is miserable and getting worse. Something was up the moment he said wabalabadubdub in episode 3.
Him letting go of memory Diane wasn’t healing. It was suppression.
He never dealt with his grief. He used it fuel is vengeance against Rick Prime, and he thought it would help him, but it did not. He was empty afterwards.
