Original Manshoom vs Clone Manshoon

So, I am expanding on dragon heist and want to make it possible to get my players to level 10 by expanding the plotlines and really growing the homebrew element of it. My plan is to have Casslanters as the central villain in the first act for levels 1 to 3, scaling them down to basically act as the baddies for the party to grow a rep in the city by contending with corrupt nobles. The Xanthar and Jarlaxle for the 2nd act for levels 4-6, which would be the dragon heist focus and gathering the eyes of galorr. Zhentarim would still play a role here, but they are on the defensive and are more focused ln a greater plot going on in the background. My final act would be levels 7-10, and deals with the actions of the party as they contend with Manshoons goals to usurp Laurel and become a new leader of Waterdeep from the chaos from the previous two acts.

An idea I wanted to explore is the Clone manshoon basically leading these previous villains as a disillusioned clone, wanting to bring chaos to the city after coming to the conclusion his life doesnt matter after facing Halaster Blackcloak. The real manshoon and the Black Network, which is my idea of separating them from the Zhents under the Clone, are wanting to maximize this chaos to seize control of the city and bring order to it. For character reference, the real Manshoon im inspired by Doctor Doom meets Tommy Shelby from Peaky Blinders, while the Clone has Joker meets Ras Al Ghoul from the Dark Knight, a hybrid of chaos yet intent on bringing the world down around him because he knows how it was built.

I was wondering if this sounds like a reasonable escalation of a final act, since Manshoon seems the most dangerous of the foes and it would give him an interesting buildup of seeing dual natured villain? I also was toying with the idea real Manshoon can use the party's actions against them, forcing them underground and turning them into vigilantes like from the Daredevil tv show and similar media.

There are other factors i aim to throw in this final act, such as a Black Oblesik connecting to a grander 10-20 campaign. There is an agent of Vecna who may be pulling the strings the whole time, alongside a time dragon since they sound cool and Manshoon actually has a draconic daughter but its not disclosed what species. Lastly, dagult neverember himself gets involved, since I thought it be cool Manshoon has an hidden contract with Dagult due to them both being ambitious figureheads more intent on order then being moral.

If you'd like to do it, the OneDrive linked to the Steam Workshop version has publicly available links at the bottom that anyone can use. Words can express little how ecstatic it was to make this and implement it into the Marvel Champions card game. While Spawn is not a Marvel character, obviously, he is a monumental character for what he has done for the comic world as a whole. I wanted to pay tribute to him by bringing him to the card game, and so this large hero pack is the culmination of that effort! His work includes so many beautiful artworks and an entirely new way to play the game, unique only to him among all the heroes. He is in what I would consider an open beta for everyone to try officially and provide their thoughts on.

Spawn uses his hit points to pay for new events from his necroplasm deck, inspired by existing heroes such as Dr. Strange, Deadpool, X--23, and Wolverine in the core game. These events are strong, matching some of the best events seen across identities in the game. To aid him, designed after his 9:9:9:9 counter from comics, he uses 4 countdown counters that reset his health to 9. These provide him with extended health as he uses his limited necroplasm to stay alive over the course of the game!

Alongside this massive hero pack, Spawn will also be the frontrunner to a new aspect I intend to make later this year. Titled Contempt, it was going to be released alongside Spawn, but due to its size, I decided it would be better suited as its own release later down the road. This new aspect will use only art from the world of Spawn, and is entirely designed around negative traits as a hero as a way to play. 5 new keywords across new allies, several upgrades to master weaponry and merciless tactics, and many more mechanics designed to border on calling yourself a hero. This aspect will be multimonth long, as it will also be worked on with 3 new heroes following Spawn, whom I intend to release. I shall keep them hush-hush for now, but they each will bring like Spawn, a new way to play the game and offer synergy with these new aspects as it is worked on throughout the year. All of these can be followed on the Marvel Champions custom content Discord, should anyone be interested by all means.

I have tried sharing other characters in the past here, but for some reason reddit keeps hiding them. The previous was the Custom- Black Knight Hero Pack, alongside the Custom- Mephisto Scenario Pack. Alongside these, I have also created a Sentry, Carnage (Eddie Brock), Silver Surfer, and an Iron Patriot custom hero with equal quality to Black Knight. If anyone is interested, its the same deal if you want to try them out for yourself. My Steam workshop has them listed individually so you can pick and choose what suits your interests.
