How do I fix Realtek Ethernet?
I've used arch for a couple years now, and I just upgraded my pc and got everything moved over after copying my previous install into a .img and then using dd to move the .img to my new ssd. My new pc has a realtek wifi card which was a problem, so I use a mesh box with an ethernet cord to bypass the realtek wifi card. but my download speeds are atrocious (5mbps on speedtest.net and when i update my system its like 300kb/s and it usually fails along with it cutting out frequently or basically dropping to 0b/s) and this wasnt the case on windows 10 with the exact same setup 3 hours ago (it was 600mbps and no cutouts or anything) and i've troubleshooted for so many hours now i've run out of things to try, I forgot everything ive done otherwise I would put it here, but in the past usually ethernet just works on arch and linux in general so I wasn't expecting to have issues.
