The new "side mode" with your tabs and address bar on the side hides your title bar and close/minimise buttons, meaning you have no way to interact with the window at all! You also can't get into settings at all. You have to get a mouse to hover at the top of the window to get the title bar to show to be able to revert back. Seems the only option if you want the sidebar is to enable "native title bar" to show a blank bar at the top constantly, completely negating the space saving point of the sidebar!
