Recently went to the vet today to get a lump on my corn looked at. They took X-rays and it was soft tissue so they said they don't know what it is. They sent me home with antibiotics, antiinflammatory, and food supplement (so he doesn't have an empty stomach). I did some research before administering and found you are supposed to avoid the glottis so they don't choke. I'm having trouble not getting him to violently thrash when I start moving the syringe past the glottis. The last attempt he thrashed away so violently now there seems like there is a little bit of blood coming from his mouth and his jaw is really clenched (I'm not forcing it open but just using a little foam plastic card to try and see if he will open his mouth a little)

The vet is closed tomorrow but I'm not sure if I'm just missing something. Are there any alternatives to this? I have to do 3 syringes for 7 days and he is already bleeding after the first attempt.
