Hi everyone, I hope this is the right subreddit. I am currently travelling through China and I have been using the same Esim from Trip.com that has a build-in VPN with 100GB/day. For the past two weeks that I have been travelling through China all my apps and data connection have been working perfectly and very fast, but sinds ca. 24 hours, Whatsapp seems to have been completely cut off from my internet. I’m not able to send or receive messages and I also cannot connect to the in-app customer service chat. Also, when I want to scan QR codes with Alipay or Wechat to order food or pay, it often gives a network error. I even have bought a different Esim from Trip.com for 1 day to see if it was my specific Esim, that’s not working, but that also didn’t work. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is and/or how to fix it? Many thanks!
