This is for a story. I want to write "Now... who might those footsteps belong to, hmm?".

Is this correct? Or am I way off?

"Nun ... zu wem mögen diese Schritte gehören, hm?"

How would you write it?

Edit: I meant footsteps as if he heard the sound of footsteps and then asks this question.
