Preview of my newest jet, swept wing fighter, no gyros, no stabilizers.

I've been working on this after work for a few days, Just about have it where I want. Goes about 400mph straight and level with wings extended and swept. Fun little feature in the second clip, this birds wings sweep forwards, too. The forward swept wings generate a ton of pitch and can help pull out of dives and turn quickly. Very stable, levels out pretty much by itself, maneuverable and pretty quick. No landing gear, unfortunately, I just couldn't afford the complexity. I'm sure there's some optimization I can do to get some basic break-away wheels at least, but I'll have to see what I can do. Full post later, still need a name, any ideas?

Further progress on my WIP jet. still need any logic master's assistance with the landing gear.

Did a lot more work on this two seater, figured out how to cover the wheels completely, the doors were too short but I couldn't make them longer due to the intakes. So I made a pivoting door that stows under the belly. All the doors are operated by distance sensors at the moment. I'd like a logic fix to have one button retract the gear, close the 3 doors in order, then when the button is pressed again, the reverse order happens, the doors open followed by the gear extending. I have it working pretty smoothly going in, but out is still a bit buggy, I think having it timed through logic rather than relying on the distance sensors would be a lot smoother, but I can't figure it out. This is going to be my first multi-part build, I only have this much done and I'm already around 600 complexity. There are a ton of hinges, servos and pistons, both operational and aesthetic. Not sure if I'm happy with the nose, I may re-work it. Any help or suggestions is appreciated, I've never built anything with multiple parts, but I think the RC blocks will make things a lot easier than previously, with pistons and distance sensors used to operate things.

How many wheels you want? RAPTORtec's new line of off-road vehicles, introducing the Roadrunner line.

The Roadrunner line of offroad vehicles includes two, three, and four wheel variants, each with incredible suspension and handling. The X2 is a motorcycle that offers a smooth ride with two stages of boost, exceptional handling and a sleek profile. The X3 is a fun trike, not as nimble as the X2, but more stable through turns and a little quicker. The X4 is the best of both worlds, fast, agile and aggressive. the X2 and X3 both have a third stage of boost, helping to get over those hills and get some real air. All models have gyroscopic "weight shifting" to assist with wheelies and leaning into turns. Brake and Reverse lights standard, stabilization is achieved through logic and sensors, no gyro stabilizers. Models shown include optional twin tiny cannons timed to fire with minimal reload overlap, and four rocket pods which fire in rapid succession.

Logic help with landing gear. Help appreciated.

I've got my WIP jet with landing gear and doors, I want to be able to toggle a single button, "G" in my case, to raise the gear and close the doors behind them, then when "G" is pressed again, the reverse occurs. I have it set up now with a distance sensor to close the top doors, which are on pistons, so that they retract after the bottom doors have closed, the sensor sees them close and pulls in the top doors. This all works fine, aside from having separate buttons for the gear and the doors at the moment. But when I try to open the doors to lower the gear, they just bust open and jam up. Not ideal, the example in the video was mild compared to occasions where the doors ripped off and sent me supersonic. So I need some way to reverse the order of operations and make the top door open, then the bottom, then the gear lowers. I have my landing gear down and doors open by default if that helps. Appreciate any insight, I've been working on this for a while and I'd like to get to building again, lol.

RAPTORtec VTOL. Used the chassis from a helicopter I posted previously and built this dual rotor bird.

Fairly stable in flight, especially with rotors tilted up, they can rotate fully forward, goes a lot faster, but is very unstable. Hover capabilities with auto stabilization at the touch of a button. Can maneuver in hover mode, for minute adjustments, including the ability to hover at different vertical inclinations. Smart cannons and one small flak cannon on the aiming servo under the nose, points where the pilot looks. May try to make a rework with the new aiming block thingy. Four rockets under the wings. RAPTORtec's usual features, landing gear, no gyros, no stabilizers. Thrust vectoring with the rotors as well as tail thrusters. Can take off vertically, with a long runway, or can drive right off the edge of the carrier with hover mode on, just kinda looks like it's driving on an invisible bridge. Not the fastest, but a lot of fun to fly.

New Batmobile and car lift.

Built this around the double wishbone suspension frame I posted previously. Kind of a mix of my favorite batmobiles, The grill of the og batman movie, hood from the animated series and the back I left kind of open and exposed like The Batman. Goes pretty fast and can turn incredibly sharp at full speed with the tank steering engaged. Has decent body roll with active-aero. Tried to make it as realistic as I could, all the engines are in the engine bay (some hidden space thrusters, but you kinda gotta.), all independent double wishbone suspension, brake and reverse lights, the "transmission" goes into the "drive shaft" and to the "rear differential." The "drive shaft" and rear diff don't actually do anything, just aesthetic, but that mast is pretty heavy, so it may be helping with keeping it on the ground. I want to add an exhaust system with pipe pieces but I don't know if I have the space or the complexity, it's already basically sitting on the ground and the suspension needs a lot of room for travel so I don't want to put anything in the way. Need some decal work in the cockpit. Still working on the handling, it turns super sharp, won't flip, but there's no drift at all, so I run into walls turning too sharply. I'm experimenting with side and forward traction on both rear and front wheels. Any tips on how to get a bit of sideways travel without spinning out? It seems if I adjust the sideways traction even just a bit, it just will not hold a straight line and the oversteer is crazy. The magnets on the lift are remnants from pre-wheel update days, but I think it still looks cool, and helps to center the vehicle. Had to use them or the car would just slide off or jitter to pieces.

New suspension test, double wishbone style with adjustable ride-height.

Worked on this for a while last night, polished it a bit this morning. Quick post before work to see if anyone has any ideas or opinions to make it better. It's already pretty smooth and handles jumps well. I'd like to get a little more roll in the system, maybe adjustable camber if I can figure it out. Next step is to build a vehicle around the frame, gotta be pretty simple though, the suspension complexity is already quite a bit.

RAPTORtec Shrike, agile Helo with an interesting takeoff.

Built this bird today, no gyros, no stabilizers. Can take off vertically, or with a short runway as well, using traditional rotor lift. Jet Assisted Take Off for rapid deployment to theater. "Swash plate" and adjustable lift with flaps on rotor tips. 4 stationary rocket pods and 2 miniguns on the sides, 2 smart cannons under the nose on aiming servos. Didn't show the cockpit interior, but it's the same as the flight sim/ controller I posted before. Actually discovered the JATO capabilities accidentally, just hit the thrust button instead of the rotor button and away she went! Needs a repaint and some tweaking. Forgive the landing, I forgot I had the rotors locked forward and the flaps still angled a bit too much, pushed the nose down. Also forgot to toggle off the aiming servos, which is why it rocks a bit at the end, they aim down as well as horizontal, so they were hitting the runway. Any way to stop pistons at a certain distance? I tried an OR gate set to 0.5 to stop it hitting the tail but when i use the button on the OR gate, it just keeps going to full length as long as I hold the button. I know hinges can be set to certain distance with OR gates, any help would be appreciated.

RAPTORtec Kodiak, multi-use all terrain heavy troop transport.

This is my newest build, a highly versatile and capable platform for multi role functions. Can be used as transport, evac, recon, or as a command and control hub for officers and radio specialists. I will be working on some different versions, different paint schemes and weapons loadouts. I'm pretty close to max complexity, I have never built an odd width vehicle, I don't know why I chose to do it now. But I basically have a seam all the way around the vehicle of 1 block width parts between the two mirrored halves. So there is definitely some optimization opportunity. A lot of work went into the suspension, one of my favorite parts of any build. All wheels move independently, The two rear wheels are unattached from each other, the two sets of front wheels move independently, and the two foremost wheels are articulated from the second wheel, and are not attached to the frame, this gives a large cushion for terrain and landings, allowing the wheels to compress almost into the frame. Beefy suspension for this heavy vehicle was a must. Gull wing doors and opening rear hatch for storage/ medical transport.

Further developments in RAPTORtec UAV technologies. We are working on the landings.

Converted my newest jet to remote control, started building a mock cockpit for the controller. Things got a little out of hand and I now have this.

Short take-off mag-assisted runway and jet improvements.

Made some improvements to my latest build, little faster, little smoother. Tail fins and front flaps work as air brakes for landing. The runway is WIP, I'm not sure if the forward facing magnets are also pushing up, it seems like I'm lifting off before I get to the upwards magnets at the end of the ramp. Further testing is needed. I don't know how I'll fix it, if it is even an issue. Would have been a nice landing if not for the huge hole in the middle of the aircraft carrier. Never liked that feature. Magnets are triggered remotely from the aircraft, so it can be used with any build, as long as you have 1 block of complexity to sneak in somewhere, lol, I know for me that can be an issue.

Thrust V-Tec kicked in, YO! decided to make a jet with toggleable thrust vectoring.

I was working on this build, and the thrust vectoring was a little too intense for regular flight, landing was really hard because lining up with twitchy controls is not ideal. I tried adjusting speed and angle on flaps and the rear jets, but I just made it worse. So i came up with an idea to make it toggleable. There's a pretty good demonstration of the difference in the beginning, thrust vectoring is activated and the turn radius goes to basically nil. Great for dog fighting or quick maneuvers, I kind of want to make it momentary, rather than on a toggle, but I need the right key that's easily reachable, I'd have to remap my thrust system, which has 3 levels of thrust. Flaps are automatically deployed on the second tier of thrust, which is takeoff, first is taxi. Third stage is full burn and I need to figure out how to get the flaps to lower back down on this stage, as I have to do it manually, and it basically flies straight up with flaps on. No gyros, no stabilizers. Adjustable trim and working landing gear/ gear bays. This is the most piston/ hinge glitch heavy Jet build I think I've made, I generally stay away from it as I find it to be troublesome and things tend to explode, but I needed to get more thrusters into it. I wish we had more powerful small form thrusters. Four rocket pods, minigun hidden in the nose, and two non-aim assist machine guns under the nose. I don't think it's overpowered, or gun spam.
