Three year old Mitsubishi Heat pump. Model SVZ-KP24NA . Works great.... Maybe too great. We keep the temp higher during the day, but drop it in the evening. So the AC is kicking on around 6pm-ish.

By 7:30 there's a puddle forming at the corner where the base meets the garage concrete floor.

It DOES appear to be draining outside, and has a water sensor for the pan that hasn't tripped. I'm just wondering what I can do to avoid stepping in a puddle in my socks.

I've pulled off the front cladding, but I couldn't get to where I could see the drain pan without using more force and tends to be when expensive stuff breaks. Can the side panel be removed?
