Help: boys & girls
Hi everyone, I’m a 23 yo guy (from abroad) who has never been in a relationship.
I’d say I’m good-looking, have a great sense of humor, dress really well, and alhamdulillah, I’m doing really well financially.
But I have one big problem: I’m just way too shy to talk to girls.
When it comes to social media, I’ve never DM’d a girl to try to flirt with her or anything like that.
Whenever I come to Morocco, my friends and cousins are always telling me, “Go talk to that girl,” “Ask for her number,” “Go talk to that other girl,” “Follow her on Insta and message her,” etc. You guys know what I mean. I never actually do it though.
I always tell them that I’d rather meet my future wife naturally, just randomly through life. They think I’m crazy and say that’s basically impossible. According to them, if I don’t start meeting girls through social media or approaching them in public, the years will go by and I’ll eventually end up alone.
I’d really appreciate any advice, especially on how to overcome my shyness, since I’m also a bit shy in many other situations in life.
