New gutters if need to use fasteners under shingles?

Due to the way the roof edge is constructed, I guess our house needs to have fasteners to attach gutters. Currently the fasteners are installed *over* the shingles. We are getting our roof replaced and will install the fasteners *under* the shingles, so we don't make holes in the shingles. However, this means that changing out the gutters would be a p.i.t.a. in the future.

My question: Should we get new gutters now to lessen the possibility that they would need to be replaced before roof needs to be replaced again? Or just reinstall existing gutters (I don't know how old they are, guessing 10-15 years).

Existing gutters are 5", seem to be in fine shape, maybe some cosmetic dings or scratches.

We plan to stay in the house long-term, we are currently in our 40s and don't expect to move.
