My insurance keeps denying everything my doctor keeps prescribing me but apparently they will approve this one. I’m curious to know if anyone is on it and if it has worked for your excessive daytime sleepiness?
I just left my doctor and she prescribed me LUMRYZ and SUNOSI. However, the way she described the LUMRYZ was as a night time medication so my REM sleep isn’t interrupted but I sleep fine at night. The only times I wake up is when I need to use the bathroom so I’m a bit confused as to why she prescribed me that medication. I honestly try to have as much of a holistic lifestyle as a I can and I don’t want to take unnecessary medications. I don’t like taking pills and because I normally do get my full hours of sleep, I’m confused as to why I should take this as well. Is anyone here on this medication? And if so, what can you tell me about how it has improved your narcolepsy?
