I am a 28F. I have had my IUD for about 13 months now. Ever since I got my IUD, my periods have been consistently 8 days long. Minus the first month where it was 19 days. Before I was on birth control, they were 5 days. Due to some medical issues, going on the pill is not an option. I have gotten the placement checked several times & it is in the right spot. My period is very light, but drags on. I do like the IUD, but the long periods are getting annoying. Did yours ever get shorter after the year mark?
