Update: Beachman made it right (Warranty Update)

I wanted to post an update since a lot of people offered advice on my original post.
Beachman reached out after reviewing my case and agreed to cover the cost of a brand-new rear motor along with shipping, even though my bike was just outside the warranty period(like a week). The bike only has around 300 miles, and they said they felt it was the right thing to do.
I’ll be covering the labor to have my mechanic install it, which is the same compromise I had offered them.
The replacement motor won’t include my Scrambler tire mounted on the rim, but they’re also sending an extra tube in case anything happens during the tire transfer.
I really appreciate Beachman taking another look at my situation and standing behind their product. It would’ve been easy to deny the claim since I was just past the warranty, but instead they chose to help, and I think that’s worth recognizing.
Thanks to everyone here who offered advice and support while I was working through this. I’m looking forward to getting the bike back on the road soon! 🏍️

Thanks again to Ben and their team very excited to take my baby around town again!

Bike left me stranded

I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.
I purchased a custom Beachman about a year ago and have invested close to $7,000 between the bike, the custom Blundstone tank and seat, and several other accessories.
The bike has only around 300 miles on it, and recently the throttle completely failed, leaving me stranded and requiring a tow.
I contacted Beachman, and they responded that because the bike is now just over a year old, it’s no longer under warranty. They offered to help with the repair, but it won’t be covered.
I’m disappointed because with only 300 miles, I wouldn’t expect a major component like the throttle to fail so soon.
Has anyone else experienced a throttle failure? If so:
What ended up being the cause?
Was it just the throttle assembly, controller, or something else?
Did Beachman offer any goodwill assistance even if the warranty had expired?
I really enjoy the bike and hope this can be resolved. I’m just surprised that a bike with such low mileage had this happen.
Thanks in advance for any advice or similar experiences.
