Advice on how i could make this full foil better!
Yesterday i got a last minute full foil and I’ve never done a complete foiling service over then entire head, i unfortunately forgot to do a before pic but got some decent after pics, im just looking for some advice on what i could do next time to make it better!
I work in a corporate salon that uses Redken flash lift only so i used that with 20 vol all over the head, and mixed in a 1/16th of Olaplex to all my bowls. I used 3 bowls all using a 1:1 ratio with 2oz of bleach and 2oz of developer.
I gave her five sections, the regular 4 plus an extra section for her bang! I did diagonal back sections in the back and diagonal front sections in the front as she told me she wanted to be bright when her hair is pulled forward. If it helps to explain the foils made a lil diamond at the top of her head when i was done.
I wanted to tone her but she said she liked the color and wanted to come back later to get toner if she felt she needed it.
I know i did fail to account for her parting preference and there’s that nasty harsh line at her part and i assume that’s from parting out her bang area and not really accounting for her face framing but please lmk if im wrong and it’s from something else!!!
