I'm sure im not the only person here to have noticed it, but I found no end of joy when I put together the barely concealed crossover between TP and Mulholland via Michael J. Anderson characters in both.

The room you see him on the phone in while making the cal in Mulholland is very similar to the red room in the lodge. The curtains arent as bright, abd you dont have the black and white floor, but the furniture is red and the wall to wall curtains are nearly identical.

He's also representing a great unknown evil in both roles.

Its just so classic Lynch it makes me laugh every time I watch either.
