I am upgrading my klipsch reference system to rp's and began with my front stage and now i have 4 r-41s, 2 r41 sa's, and the pictured 51s (sides) just lying around.
front wall is half-tiled, half sliding glass door with an iron wood burning fireplace in one corner, a bay window adjacent, an open wall opposite, and a couch against a brick wall at the mlp.
I hoped to frankenstein a 5.1.2 setup with the excess speakers hence why those sides were TEMPORARILY up in the corners.
After 6 months of rabbit holing hard--I admit defeat and resigned to a compromised 5.1--which, I still adore for music but it is almost comical how I encountered damn near every obstacle.
Also, my wife wont let me mount the center above the tv. So it goes.
I am going to eventually get a 9 channel atmos receiver instead of my onkyo 6100--but this is what I have.
Unless you all have advice that can encourage me to do 5.1.2. Appreciate you all!
