So honestly my story with this game is pretty random lol.
8 years ago I think, I was just mindlessly browsing the PlayStation Store one day, not really looking for anything specific, and the Persona 5 trailer just showed up. I had never heard of Persona before in my life, not even once. Nobody I know had ever mentioned it. My first thought was actually “this doesn’t look like something I’d normally play” but then again I love anime and Japanese culture so that kept me curious. And then I saw the reviews and I was like okay let me just go for it.
One of the best impulse buy of my life .
I got hooked immediately. Like genuinely could not stop playing. The embarrassing part is this was during exam season and I still kept going back to it. I don’t even regret it that much honestly.
When Royal came out I was on it day one, and after that I just went back and played all the older Persona games too. All because I randomly stumbled across a trailer while doing nothing. Still can’t believe it.
The thing is still nobody around me knows this game at all so I never really had anyone to talk about it with. Finding this subreddit was actually such a relief ngl, love seeing how much people here appreciate it.
