failed nipple graft on one side
so I had top surgery on apr 23 and everything was going smoothly, until I noticed that my skin on one of my nipples was literally staring to wear off. The left one is perfectly fine and slowly regaining color, but the other one looks from a horror movie or something. I asked my surgeon about it and she told me that this can happen even if I didn’t do anything wrong; I was scheduled to take my stitches out this Friday but I guess I’ll have to wait for a bit. Other than that everything looks great.
I’m scared about the possibility of losing my nipple entirely, or that it’s going to be too uneven compared to the other one. :(
I’ll leave the pics. There’s still a bit of graft hanging, my doctor told me to keep everything the most covered and pressured possible.
