Dolby Vision Issues with Exoplayer
I just installed Nuvio last night so there's probably some settings I'm missing, but hoping for some community help to get this great app running as it should.
Hardware: Ugoos amb6+
TV: Hisense U8K
Internet: 1gbps with speed test in app showing 685mbps, connected via ethernet
Nuvio apps installed with AIOstreams, using torbox
When playing DV files (I've been using Coco as a test, and tried One Battle After Another as well) I'm getting small stutters, then sped up playback and out of sync dialogue. Seems like a potential buffering issue, but this wasn't an issue with Coreelec and speed test results seem more than adequate.
Is this behaviour typical of how exoplayer/nuvio will buffer, rather than a loading wheel until it has a safe buffer size?
I don't have much experience in this area so any tips for troubleshooting would be very helpful.
EDIT: after some tinkering I think this has to do with how Nuvio is handling lossless audio formats. Switching to lower quality audio tracks fixes the issue, but obviously isn't ideal.
