I have a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science and a Master's degree in Reproductive Physiology. My course load exceeds the minimum for the education part of the certification. I have been accepted to a lab position in a hospital as a specimen processing tech but they have said that they want to train me to become an MLT and eventually an MLS.

Can I still do the year of clinical lab experience and qualify to take the exam or do I need to do the three years associated with a 2 year degree?

I've seen in some places that the 1 year is sufficient but it seems to be older posts and I wanted to know if it was still possible.

Thanks for your help!!!
