Hello,

I have a 2016 Jetta and my car play has stopped working for quite some time. Here is a list of what I’ve tried:
- new cables, apple and anker
- turned off battery optimization
- bought a cheap amazon dongle for Bluetooth CarPlay
- took it to the dealer for a software update
- factory reset and hard resets

I am at my wits end, but the dealer wants to charge me 2K for a new unit and I can’t bring myself to do it. Bluetooth still works somewhat but it’s quite annoying to setup every time I hop in the car.

Any recommendations will help
