I’m applying for CPT for my internship at Amazon and my CPT support letter which Amazon provided has two addresses:

Corporate HQ: Seattle, WA (listed in header)

Work location: Herndon, VA (mentioned in job details)

For CPT, should I use the corporate HQ address or the actual work location (Herndon, VA)?

Has anyone done CPT for Amazon internships before and can confirm what is correct?

I’m currently an F-1 student at the University of North Florida and I have an upcoming Summer internship with Amazon (SDE Intern).

For my internship course registration, I need to complete an Experiential Learning (EL) Agreement form, which requires employer details and supervisor signature.

I sent the form to my employer onboarding/recruiter team on Thursday evening, but I haven’t received any response yet. I followed up today , but still no update.

My situation:

Internship start: June 1
Course registration deadline: May 15
EL form requires employer/supervisor details + signature
Without it, I cannot register for the course (which is required for my CPT process)

My questions:

1. Is it normal for large companies like Amazon to take this long for internship paperwork?

2. Should I escalate to recruiter / manager, or just wait a few more days?

3. Has anyone faced delays with university internship agreements before deadlines?

I’m a bit worried because the course registration and fees depend on this being completed on time.

Any advice would be really appreciated 🙏

Hey everyone, I could really use some advice 🙏

I received an internship offer from Amazon, but I’m currently stuck with a CPT issue and timing conflict.

- Amazon sent me an offer on Friday 5/1/26 and scheduling onboarding survey where the earliest end date option is August 21.
- However, my university requires my internship to end before August 17 so that it doesn’t overlap with my fall classes.

I emailed my recruiter and onboarding team today (May 4, ~11:00AM EST), but I haven’t received any response yet. My survey deadline is tomorrow at 8 AM PST, and they mention that selections in the survey are final.

I’m worried about:
- Selecting dates that don’t match CPT → risking CPT denial
- Not submitting the survey → risking my offer
- Whether Amazon will accommodate a slight end date change (like ending a few days earlier)

Questions:

1. Has anyone been in a similar situation with Amazon internships and CPT?
2. Will Amazon typically adjust internship dates by a few days for visa/CPT reasons?
3. Should I just select the closest option (Aug 21) and explain later?
4. Is it risky to escalate by CC’ing the hiring manager?

I’m really stressed since everything depends on getting the correct offer letter dates for CPT approval.

What actually helps the most in getting a return offer?
