Hi, I stopped using my Reddit account last year because of politics but have been occasionally stopping by this Reddit for optimism (and thanks personally for helping my mental state) so I want to share this cause this is making me both depressed and furious
If you don‘t live in Utah like I do or keep up with its news, three commissioners in Box Elder County just approved of a massive data center that will
increase emissions by 50%
Use more electricity then most of the state
Be placed close to the endangered Great Salt Lake, which if you aren’t aware, will release toxic dust into the air if it dies, severely impacting Utah life
Anyone have any optimism and any hope for this, cause this is a clear violation and ignorance of the wishes of the people.
