I'm living next to a property that is covered in rubbish, the people living there dump all their rubbish all around the house. It's disgusting and myself and other residents regularly have vermin in our homes due to it. Now with the warm weather it absolutely stinks. And I don't mean a black bag or two this is a mountain of rubbish.
This has been going on for years and there have been endless complaints made by residents to the local county council. The county council have been maintaining for a long time that they can't do anything due to formal Gardaí restrictions about safety, they wrote me a formal letter stating this. I forwarded this letter to the Gardaí who canvassed their members and can't find anyone who spoke to the council, they even said if requested to by the council they will happily attend to handle any anti-social behaviour and ensure safety. The Gardaí made similar statements to local TDs and Councillors.
The only thing I can conclude is that the council made this up and have been lying to me this whole time. I have forwarded the Gardaí's statement to local TDs, Councillors and directly to the council and it's been dead silence from the council, no response at all.
