Hi everyone

Just checking if some went through anything similar and if there's a way out. Me and my wife got a Netherlands Schengen approved in March in Bangalore.

Schengen approved period - 10th April to 25th May

But as soon as the war broke out it was too risky too travel.

We deferred our plans and then since the war situation didn't settle we cancelled our bookings eventually.

Now we're rethinking to travel in August. Is there a way to appeal to the Netherlands Embassy to extend the same Visa but for the new period (given the entire geopolitical tensions worldover) instead of going through another brand new application again.

Any experiences/ suggestions welcome.
