I’m currently working at a large life insurer with a fairly generous study program. I am thinking about doing the FAP modules and use some study time for that to take ATPA but want to hear people’s thoughts who have taken both.

From what I’ve heard, the FAP modules are not difficult and FA is typically less time intensive than ATPA. My company offers m more study time for modules than necessary and significantly more study time than ATPA.

Only downside I see right now is that I pay ATPA fee out-of-pocket but get reimbursed if/when I pass.
