Okay, I read this years ago and I want to reread it, but I can’t seem to remember the name of the book nor any of the characters.
It’s about this FMC who was a child psychic prodigy helping to find a little girl who went missing.
Years later, even though she’s told her dad (who is also her manager) that she no longer has the gift, she is still doing readings.
A detective or possibly FBI agent asks for her help hunting down a serial killer. While tracking down clues, they fall for each other.
Later, the FMC realizes the serial killer has psychic abilities and feels like they are connected. She is kidnapped from her hotel room and is SA’d by the killer.
She is eventually rescued. The killer gets away and ends up at a bar. There, he meets a woman who is more like him, and he’s able to rein in the killing because she satisfies him.
Obviously, that doesn’t last forever. I believe he is found and killed.
I want to say the serial killer is named Philip; I remember him being written as generally a very good-looking guy, and that it comes to light he was responsible for the girl the FMC found as a child.
If anyone can name this book, I would so appreciate it!
