I placed an order for the black Fellow Series 1 from Macy’s on April 28 as a Mother’s Day gift. The order was supposed to ship directly from the vendor and arrive within 3–6 days.
Yesterday, I received an email saying the order was delayed indefinitely. I also noticed that the black model no longer appears on Macy’s website. Macy’s told me the item is out of stock/backordered and that fulfillment depends on the vendor.
However, when I contacted Fellow directly, I was told they currently have plenty of the black model in stock. That makes the situation confusing and frustrating, especially since this was intended as a Mother’s Day gift.
Can someone from Fellow clarify what is happening with Macy’s orders for the black Series 1 placed around the end of April? Are these orders expected to be fulfilled, or should customers assume they may be canceled?
