Hospital bill for my son being born is now in collections, but they’ve stopped contacting me completely.

So back in 2022 my son was born. We had priority health insurance in Michigan. We got him on our insurance the day he was born. We did everything to add him to our insurance as instructed by my agent and the hospital. Fast forward to the start of 2023, one entire year later we get a bill for 3800 for his birth… I figured well, I’m not paying that as our plan covered all aspects of child birth with my daughter 2 years earlier and nothing had changed. I tried to figure it out with the hospital and insurance but it was just an absolute pain. So another 6 months go by and Revco Solutions debt collector starts contacting me about my debt. I contested it, and they were required to send me exactly what I owed this money for, I continued to ignore them month by month and now they haven’t contacted me in over a year. Should I be worried? I have no idea what to expect honestly. I know it hasn’t affected my credit, so what else could they do?

Wow what an expierence..

My wife and I have been to Island of Adventure and Universal Studios before. Loved every bit of both parks. We have children now, 4 and 6, and we wanted them to experience Epic with us for the first time. We had early access and we were probably 4 of the first 1000 people into Mario World/Kong. We got to enjoy all of Mario land with 0 minute wait times and it was incredible. We got power bands for the kids and the donkey Kong banana smoothie, which was amazing by the way. We spent about 7 hours total at Epic, 3 of which were waiting in lines for rides. Every ride we went on broke down, or had a delay while we were in line so it was tough but when you’ve already sat in line for 45 mins for a ride, you don’t want to get out of line… But our kids were phenominal, they enjoyed every minute of it. Isle of Berk was beyond incredible like holy shit… amazing rides and views. Dark Universe, also amazing. This park is top notch. We spent 1000$ to be there for 7 hours and only rode 6-7 rides but the wife and I came back at night time without the kids and got to expierence Monsters Unchained, and Stardust racers. Both rides were absolutely incredible. Stardust at nighttime was amazing to say the least, the idea to have the 2 coasters “racing” was incredible. I’ve read tons of upsetting reviews on wait times and ride delays so we were skeptical. However, Epic Universe delivers. With or without kids, this park is a must see and must experience. 10/10 would go again with my young children and wait hours for rides again. I know some people kids can’t handle the waits and the heat but somehow our little Michigan babies trooped through the 100 degree days and made memories that will last a lifetime. Looking forward to next years Epic Universe Visit!!

Tl;Dr - Epic Universe is epic, with or without young children, it’s an incredible experience. Don’t base your trip on what others say, go for yourself.
