Don’t book Mitch/Michelle Doon/Bagalawis from Perfect Diaries tied up with Thal Ruin Photography
If you’re planning on getting the package from Perfect Diaries, DON’T.
Una palang, mag sset up ng time si Mitch with us laging late/no-show. Take note, this was our first meeting together with my family no show agad. Ang sabi niya puyat daw siya. Okay, we let it slide kasi first meet palang and baka puyat nga.
We flew to the Philippines to do the prenup shoot with Thal Ruins which came with the package also do errands for the wedding.
So we wanted to meet with her for the first time, so we already agreed upon the location tapos last minute mag cchange. San ka nakakita ng coord na gusto pa kami mag aadjust sa gusto niya?
Ang lakas maka advance ng payment kesyo babayaran na daw ang suppliers. So okay sige bayad kami sa kanya. Until almost 80% na yung naadvance namin.
Fast forward finafollowup na namin si Mitch sa photo and video and wala pa rin talagang update. And minessage namin siya kung pwede kami na lang mag follow up kay Thal Ruin about sa photo and vid and sabi niya No and we respected that.
Then, one of our suplliers messaged us sino yung coordinator namin. And we voiced out our concern about not having the save the date yet. Then that supplier connected us to Thal. And dito ko naconfirm na hindi pa pala kami booked sa wedding date namin.
Oh diba kami na gumagawa ng paraan para hingin na yung mga photos. Kasi basically whenever we message Mitch ang tagal ng reply it will take days or even a week. Pero kung maka hingi ng advance ang bilis mag reply niyan.
We got the prenup vids and photos from another supplier pa. Di ko nga alam para saan pa hinire namin yung Mitch for coord. Basically, nung March pa ready yungvideo hindi lang marelease. The reason, hindi pa bayad si Mitch.
Nung nakuha namin yung photos hindi man lang inayos, wala man lang edit edit, hindi nila inayos like any other normal photography shoot would do. The reason? Again, hindi kasi nag bigay ng downpayment or any form of payment si Mitch. No receipts given to us from what she said she needed advanced payment to pay suppliers. NOT A SINGLE RECEIPT. Kung hinahantay niya kami mag ask pa ng receipt, aba ang galing naman niya wala siyang initiative?
Prior to all these after we settled our DP with Mitch I decided to ask thal ruin directly if we are already booked with them. At first hindi pa sure ung admin of Thal and then ung admin talked to the owner asking the date and nagconfirm ung owner regarding that date. So dahil jan kampante kahit na may confirmation sa owner.
I got this nessage from Thal. See image. May point sila kasi ang coordinator dapat tlaga ang mag settle nito between the suppliers. While they had a point, they also admitted that they were friends with Mitch. Reality check they said? They should also do reality check on themselves. If they already knew this kind of issue was happening repeatedly, why continue tolerating it? Simple lang naman. Stop doing business with her. Porket magkaibigan sila? Stop tolerating her shit. Business is business. I feel like, if you choose Mirch as your wedding coordinator she will continue using Thal Ruin because friends nga sila. And the cycle will keep on repeating. Non payment issued, no good photos, no released prenup videos and no bookings. Clients are the ones suffering in the end.
For the record, if you want Thal Ruin as your photographer and videographer, hire them SEPARATELY. There’s no doubt that they’re really good at taking photos and videos
Posting this because future couples deserve to know what they might experience before trusting their wedding plans and money to these people.
