got a 1/9 on a melodic dictation yesterday and averaging 50% on the aural mcqs. trying to magically gain perfect pitch over the wknd but lowk might just give up and study for calc instead.

I’m taking AP Music Theory and am worried for the AP exam on Monday — I’ve been getting borderline 2/3s on exams. Would top colleges care/would this affect my chances if I canceled the score?
For context, I have a high A in the class (teacher barely taught) and have been involved in music outside of school for a long time, which are the only things making me hesitate. There’s just no way I can cram for this exam in time and my pitch is frankly horrible. I’m taking 5 other APs which I’m confident I will score well on. Music is in no way the major I want to pursue, but it’s an activity I’ll definitely list and I have awards from it.
