Me and my partner adopted our girl almost a year ago this time. She has been an amazing dog, well behaved at home and outside. Never had massive issues with having any kind of destructive behaviour, and while we were at work for almost all year she would stay at home sleeping or lazying around ( we check her with a camera ).
Last week end we were both away at work and we checked the camera out of curiosity ( we usually did check it once or twice a day just to make sure she was fine) but we noticed she was very panting and crying and being generally restless. I contacted my mother as she lives close and she went to check it everything was fine and when she went in she found that she had chewed the entrance door frame. One of us left work and went home just to make sure she was ok . Since that day it has been a nightmare, while we are at work we notice she is always restless and in alert mode, always looking at the entrance door wining and even when sometimes she decides to go to her bed she stays there only for few minutes and she keeps panting . Today we also found at our arrival that she peed at home ( she did this only few times and it was when we left her alone in the evening , we usually never do that) and also she scratched the entrance floor by the door.
Do you guys have any tips to give or are familiar with this kind of behaviour ??
