Weird situation.. but I had my birth control sitting next to ice water to prepare to take it, and I got sidetracked handling my bedtime routine. By the time I got back to the pill to take it, the sweat from the cup of water had reached the pill and completely dissolved it into a little blue puddle

I’m ashamed to say it.. but I did lick up the melted pill. I’m just wondering that if I did this, I’m still protected? I’m sure I got it all, but I’m not sure if my birth control pill puddle will still work properly seeing as it melted before I ate it..😭

For context: I’ve been on the pill for 2+ years, it’s Lo Loestrin Fe

I think I’ve learned my lesson about putting my pill next to cold water..
