Hi all,

Wanted to get an update on what people think on here that has experience about current markets for renovation work and value. With all the high inflation, and the middle east high oil issues we are experiencing in todays climate. Is it still worth it? Cost of renos have increased/is increasing once again due to oil prices. I currently live in a old apartment 50 metres from the beach/ocean with ocean views in Sydneys northern beaches. Kitchen and bathroom are at least 20 years or more. Completely out of date and not functional but still making it work. Plan is to live there at least 5 years minimum. Want to do the kitchen and laundry together. Kitchen and laundry is small.
