60’s Seamaster DeVille end links

Greetings - picked up a vintage beads of rice for the Seamaster DeVille, really like the look compared to leather strap as it gives the watch more presence if that makes sense. The issue I am facing is the end links not being tight enough against the case, it’s fine when being worn but the ends tend to ‘flip’ when the watch is off wrist as they are not quite tight enough - the ends might not be correct for the watch, also odd that they are marked ‘70’ vs 3 digit (704 might be correct end links) so maybe some after market fab, not sure - at any rate looking for ideas on what the correct end links should be, if a push pin with a larger diameter would tighten the ends against the case, do I need to compress (bend) the end links a bit? Any ideas appreciated!
