Hazy spot on lens

Anyone know what this is? Happened like overnight a few months ago… looks like it’s on the surface/first layer but microfiber cloth doesn’t even touch it 🥲
No visible effect on photos but was worried about reselling

Is is true that they never had our data?

I’ve seen lots of schools saying the only impact was the visual on the website. Outage only occurred because they shut it down to resolve the issue. So it TECHNICALLY was just maintenance…?
