Hi everyone,
I’ve qualified for IIIT Bangalore and I’m trying to understand the admission process better before I commit.
I wanted to ask seniors/alumni of IIIT Bangalore:
What is the usual timeline for fee payment after selection?
Is there a seat booking/token amount or first-semester fee that has to be paid upfront?
If I later get an IIT or NIT in the final round, how much money would I lose?
What are the refund rules in practice? Is the refund full, partial, or only after some deadline?
Does paying the fee here affect my chances of joining IIT/NIT later through the final rounds?
I’m mainly worried about not blocking my options too early and then losing a large amount if I move to another institute later.
Any clear experience-based advice would really help. Thanks in advance.
