I have seen this a lot both online and in-person. East Asian people seeing clearly mixed, Eurasian looking or Central Asian ppl and they will say that they don’t look Asian at all and they don’t see it, gatekeeping in a retarded way. Is this just because of lack of exposure? Due to the fact that mixed Asians are probably very rare in mainland Asia and they use their baseline for what looks Asian as a full-blooded Mongoloid person existing in China, Japan, Korea?
