Sophomore's experience + advice needed!
Hey everyone! As stated in the title, I'm a sophomore international student, and I recently applied and got into a bunch of programs.
Decided to go through with IGEM Venture Creation Labs for synthetic bio and Algoverse AI.
Due to tensions in the Middle East and my family's financial instability, the aid I received was not really enough atm, but I could find the money for it somehow.
Do you think Algoverse is worth 2.8k?
Additionally, if you know anything about IGEM VCL, I'd appreciate that too! I've been joining their sessions and completing the assignments, but I'm curious to see how far this can go. If anyone has experience with it, I'd love to hear. Thanks in advance <3
(Also, I have research experience and have been working on an ML research project with a university professor since 9th grade, so if the program is really only for people without prior experience, is it a pass? I'm interested in publication and learning more about the publication process, and Algoverse has a high publication percentage.)
