does anyone know what causes this??? window people say its not the windows, window drains or the seals around the window, the brick and mortar people say it’s not the mortar around the windows. It happens all around our house on all sides. it gets worse when it rains and the plaster feels cool and soft. over time, the spots bubble up and then crumble and fall. doesn’t happen in the winter. also, our gutters are fine. we even got gutter guards 2 yes ago. roof is newer, the ceiling and walls do not leak or have this, just the plaster in the “boxes” around our windows.
