Potting soil Koi safe?
I’m looking for fish-safe potting soil. Is there something I can get from Lowe’s rather than go to my local pond store and spend $40 a bag? But if I have to, it is what it is.

Excuse the mess around the waterfall and rocks still doing some spring cleanup and rock placement. Other than that the koi are happy water is clean. Summer is coming!!!

Hey guys, today I got home from work and tested all my water parameters, and everything looked great. So, I grabbed a little food and tossed some in. One of my koi stayed away on the other side of the air pump so I wasn’t sure if it didn’t notice me or what. The same fish did this about 4 or 5 days ago while feeding, but I had 14 other fish around me swimming and eating, so I feel like it would be hard to not notice me. After they stopped feeding, I walked over so I could see it, and it did a pretty good flash one time, and I panicked. I pulled the fish out right away and scraped it 3 times and found nothing. All 11 of my koi are small; the biggest one might be 6 inches. This is the only flash I’ve seen… should I panic?
