Went to meps about a month ago and while signing the contract, I noticed it said my pay grade would be an E-1. I informed them I had a bachelor’s degree and handed them my transcript. However, it was my unofficial transcript so they told me to get the original and give it to my recruiter before I leave for bmt. So I ended up signing the contract to start as an E-1 and as soon as I left meps, I paid for the original transcript and gave it to the recruiter. So my question is, will I actually start at E-3 or was I lied to?
