Theory about Isagis path to being the #1 striker
Noel Noa’s ego kinda seems like it’s similar to what Isagi is going through right now. In the France game, Isagi realizes his role as the “rebel,” where he basically wants to find the No.1 on the field, devour them, surpass them, and keep evolving. And when you look at Noa in the NEL, he kinda does the same thing. He said he wanted Kaiser to evolve enough to eventually be someone who could challenge him, so that Noa could ultimately overcome him and become even better himself. So I might be stretching it, but I feel like Noa and Isagi have a really similar ego where they both need someone stronger to overcome in order to keep evolving. The difference is that Isagi wants to become No.1, while Noa kinda became No.1 as a result of constantly overcoming people stronger than him. So does Isagi and Noel, have the same type of egos, or is Isagi finding the origin of Noel’s ego that let him become the worlds best?
This could be something or absolutely nothing. It has been a while since I’ve reread the series I’ve been only doing weekly’s pretty much since the Nigeria match and might’ve forgotten something that explains this. But if anyone can see reason why this could be interesting let me know! So I don’t go insane.
