14th Natural Enemy?

Do you think at some point ONE will pull out a 14th Natural enemy at some point in the story? One no one knew existed but concludes or introduces a new story arc as a new threat?

Thats a common trope in shonen battle manga and I wouldn’t be surprised.

I would say that if there is going to be a 14th NE faction I would love it to be an Ocean world type of threat. Maybe like an evil Atlantis or sea beasts coming from the sea trying to take over the land. It would be cool to see a water based faction and explore that type environment. It would be fresh and unique.

What new 14th NE would you like to see if you had your pick at introducing it?

Joe Verzuz Donell Jones August 20th

Looks like Joe is about to face off against Donell Jones August the 20th on Verzuz.

Honestly think Joe is going to bully Donell a little in this. Donell punching above his weight and has been seeking this smoke for years now to face off against Joe.

Thoughts?

Why Versus is a great manga

I was thinking over the last couple of days as to why Versus is a great manga and feels different from most Shonen battle manga. What makes this story unique is for several different reasons.

Versus feels different because of how the story is structured. Most manga focus on the main protagonist and the side characters, Versus is different because of its focus on the antagonists and several different factions in the story. It makes the story feel more grand and is a recipe for phenomenal world building. The main characters so far in the series aren’t great, they are okay. The only standout for me so far would be Ginbak and characters like Glasp and Nydudo etc have potential.

But that’s not why we read Versus because the author ONE with his other series like OPM also focuses on different elements/factions other than the main character Saitama. We read it because of the viewpoints of the different factions in the story. When reading Versus you truly feel like you are reading a war drama unfolding. It almost feels like a strategy game you are watching unfold.

And I hope that never changes. Don’t get me wrong, protagonist character driven stories are great, but it feels refreshing to see a story unfold in manga like this. The story telling is much richer and deeper. You truly don’t know if a main type character will end up dying or living and I hope ONE never changes the recipe for this story and it’s continues just like this.

Which NE world would be the easiest to survive in?

Besides the lawless world (which we all know that would be the easiest), which world would you choose to live in if you had to?

Why it is important Ginbak is carrying the Titans right now

Hello all, just caught up to Versus and I’m loving the series. I love all the possibilities with the different worlds and how the Author thought of a manga like this. It just sets up for different type of story telling in different territories.

With that being said, I want to discuss how I believe it is important that Ginbak is being shown to be as strong right now for titans crown.. He seems to be the only Titan that isn’t fodder at this point. Even Hallow is one shorting them at this point when he sliced the titan behind the rock.

To me Ginbak needs to win this battle and win with clear distance because the whole titans crown group as natural enemies are looking like fodder at this point of the story. This is sad because they are 1 of my top 3 favorite natural enemy groups in the story, being that I find them the scariest. Ginbak so far is proving his worth and is really the only character I’m seeing right now that is making the titan group a decent threat in the 13 worlds.

What do you think?
