Hi Vizag folks,

I got 25th rank in APPGCET and planning to join MSc Physics at Andhra University this year. I’m mostly a self-study person and want to focus on other things on the side while completing the degree.

A few doubts:

How is the faculty and teaching quality in the Physics department? (Ofcourse I don't need, but it would be helpful if the faculty is friendly)

Do they strictly follow attendance rules? What happens if I don't attend classes regularly?

How are the labs, buildings, and other facilities (library, etc.)?

How are the hostels (especially for PG students)? Condition, food, rules, etc.?

I heard AU is upgrading a lot these days. Are they making attendance rules stricter?. Classes jaragakapoina parledhu, Attendance freedom undaali.

If anyone is currently studying or recently completed the course, please share your experience. It would help a lot.
