Hi everyone!

A friend and I have been exploring the poker scene in India and are considering building something around it, possibly an online poker club or community.

One thing we’ve consistently noticed is that poker (and card games in general) often get labeled as gambling. However, from our experience of closely watching and playing the game, poker feels very different. It’s deeply rooted in skill, reading people, understanding psychology, making calculated assumptions, and applying probability.

We’re curious to hear your thoughts:

1. Do you see poker as a skill-based game or gambling?

2. Would you be interested in being part of a poker-focused community or club?

3. What would you like to see in such a space?
