I had a dream that I was attacked by a horde of zombies and couldn’t fight them off. But after that dream, it all suddenly clicked.

So I’m asleep, minding my own business, not bothering anyone, when a zombie attacks me in my dream. I try to fight it off, but as soon as I manage to, a second, third and fourth one attack. There were so many of them that I was terrified one would bite me. It seemed as though I’d fought them all off, but for some reason, the more I wanted to fight them off, the more of them attacked me. At some point, I realised that life is just like that. That sometimes you want to do something, but some internal barriers kick in (has that ever happened to you?) and you become terribly lazy about doing it. It’s as if something inside is holding me back. And in the end, I realised I just needed to let the situation go, calm down and just relax. That’s how the zombies eventually left me alone. But the thing is, it turns out there’s actually a scientific explanation for this phenomenon. What’s strange, though, is that it came to me in a dream. I suppose I’m just too lazy to fight off zombies in my dreams 😄
