Dess is shown to do weed from the text in her room in chapter 4. Asriel probably did it too because they were in a close relationship. Here is undeniable proof that ralsei is a leaf of cannabis

1. Ralsei is green like weed
2. Ralsei can use fire magic, like when weed is lit to be smoked
3. Plants are more powerful than normal darkners, and ralsei is implied to be something similar in chapter 5
4. Ralsei is a goat creature like asriel. In chapter 5, the flowers became human (orange counts). Whilst this is probably a reference to undertale, in universe it could be because asgore is kris's dad, so he cares for the flowers like Kris, who is a human. If dess cares for asriel, her plants would become a goat man.
   I think ralsei goes between dark world through the depths or the roots anyway so that explains how he moves around

If flowers are so powerful because they are living, then surely something more living would be more powerful. Ralsei is more powerful than the flowers, so he is probably more living than a flower, so an animal. Here is the reason he could be a mouse:

1. There is a mouse cage in castle town
2. Noelle, or dess used to have a mouse. If it was dess named it could've been something to do with asriel, like an an anagram of his name
3. Ralsei bullies orange excessively for being a mouse. I think Ralsei is just insecure and projecting
4. Ralsei could be running inbetween dark world through the sewers
5. Ralsei is cute, white and fluffy like a mouse

I saw the "first meeting", and I immediately thought about the emergency meeting from among us, so i just wrote about a realistic among us scenario. I think I lowkey cooked though with some of my descriptions of space and the dead body
